Well we’ve all been patiently waiting for beer and after considerable delays on a few fronts we are hoping to be brewing within a week or two. Some of the brewing ingredients are already on their way. So when we say very soon we really do mean it.
“Where is the beer” may be the question we get most but people also wonder when we will get a patio. We’ve got good news on that front as well – we hope to have a small patio open around the same time the beer is ready.
A new patio and a Berliner Weisse sounds like a great way to enjoy those last couple months of sunny days in Winnipeg. We are definitely just as excited as you are.
For those that don’t know, our first beers are: ISA, IPA, Red Rye Pale Ale, Saison, Stout, Berliner Weisse with a Rhubarb Syrup. The beer names will be released very soon via our social media feeds, so make sure to follow @PEGbeerco.
For our PEG 100 members, on our first brew day we will be reaching out to you to inform you of our Grand Opening Party – which is for PEG 100 members only. Yes, we do have a few memberships left but we don’t expect them to last very long.
Plus if you come down to PEG for lunch, dinner, or drinks, between now and when the beer is ready we launched a contest to thank those who have been by to support us since April. All those who visit PEG Beer Co. before our own beer is ready are entered into a draw for a Private Brewer’s Dinner for 4 people. The winners will enjoy a three course dinner with beer pairings, curated by Chef Epp and our team of brewers.
If you are a PEG 100 member you are automatically entered into the same contest but separate prize just for PEG 100 members. We are extra thankful of their support – and patience.
We are very appreciative of the warm reception PEG has received since opening in April and thank you all for sticking with us.
There are lots of exciting things coming down the pipeline. We will keep you appraised of it all either on here or social media. The beer is just the first step.
